Through a short hallway, a bio-graphic account leads us to the Prodigy Room, the first gem of the house: here you can listen to one of the Sei sonate a quattro, which Rossini composed during his stu-dies in Lugo. Opening one of the four librettos – ideal scores placed on four lecterns in the centre of the room – the corresponding melodic line starts to play, while the relevant score lights up in large format on the wall panels. If all the scores are opened, the composition echoes in its entirety and, as if by magic, the visitor is visually and physically em-braced by the music.
